Operational & Leadership Internship

Overview

The Chick-fil-A Operational Leadership Internship is a 6-12 week program designed to develop future business leaders in operations, leadership, hospitality, marketing, and/or human resources in a value-driven, people-first company.  This experience provides hands-on opportunities to work alongside a Chick-fil-A Operator and leadership team, contributing to meaningful initiatives while gaining exposure to core areas of the business. We offer a flexible schedule with a 5-10hrs/week commitment.

What will I learn?

Outcomes and Skills Development:

  • Develop servant leadership and team management skills.

  • Gain firsthand experience in business practices, including recruitment, interviews, and leadership development.

  • Learn marketing strategies to support local brand growth and customer engagement.

  • Grow in self-development principles and best practices. You’ll read a leadership book, create an optional Personal Development Plan, and complete and debrief your Working Genius Assessment.

  • Explore the possibility of a Chick-fil-A career within the restaurant or with Chick-fil-A, Inc. Leadership Program.

  • Build confidence in guest relations, recovery, and communication skills.

  • Understand drivers and metrics in a multi-million dollar business.

  • Be stretched with skills to learn operational positions and workflows. Work with a trainer to learn new positions.
